About Rowdy’s Pet Resort

Welcome to Rowdy’s Pet Resort! I started envisioning opening a daycare and boarding facility back in 2012. In 2018 my dreams turned into reality when we opened our doors and started serving Apollo Beach and the surrounding areas for all of their dog daycare and boarding needs. I sometimes wake up and cannot believe how lucky I am to be truly living my dream everyday! However, I'm so glad that experience didn't stop me from trying another place! I absolutely loved Rowdy's! The staff is incredibly friendly and they took amazing care of my dog. She had a blast playing with the other dogs and got plenty of playtime. It is so clean and right next to my house. In fact, Laila was crying when we left because she didn't want to go home! I have one dog who is an angle and one who has a little bit of separation anxiety and they take such good care of both of our babies. They are very reasonably priced and very kind.

Wonderful service and they’re better at getting my uncooperative German shepherd’s nails cut than anyone else’s services I’ve used to date. Past Winners

Rowdy’s is by far the best daycare. Mahi absolutely loves coming here! He comes home tired and worn out every time from playing so hard all day. The prices are very reasonable and the employees are amazing. Thanks to Kait for making the paperwork/scheduling the meet and greet a breeze, and Dani for making Mahi’s first day amazing! We are very thankful to have found Rowdy’s and can’t wait for our next play day!
Our puppy, London, went to Rowdy's for the first time last Wednesday. We are beyond thrilled with the staff and service. I highly recommend Rowdy's for all the fur pappies out there! She goes Wednesday, Thursday and Friday...and sleeps all day Saturday! I look forward to actually walking in and meeting her new buddy "Teddy" and the rest of the staff! 🙂
Tucker LOVES going to Rowdy! I can barely contain him when we get in the parking lot, he so excited to go play. The staff are very accommodating and great with Tucker. Besides the day camps, Tucker has done a couple of over nights with equally great success!! I feel very comfortable leaving Tucker in their capable, loving hands.
I have been very pleased with Rowdy's facility and team members. My Zoey has a bit of separation anxiety and I have found each time she goes there she is happy to get there and has improved in her independence and socialization. I have called when she was there for boarding just to check in and they're always very helpful and willing to share how she's doing and address any questions I have.
We love Rowdy's for our dog Oly. Oly is a 10 month old Springer-Doodle and already very spoiled. My husband and I didn't want to leave Oly somewhere where he was in a kennel, and we wanted him to enjoy his vacation just like we do. I am SO happy we found Rowdy's Pet Resort. Oly LOVES Rowdys, and we feel so blessed to have found them. He gets to run and play, and they take excellent care of him. I wouldn't take Oly anywhere else.

Where is Rowdy's Pet Resort?

Rowdy's Pet Resort is at 13141 Kings Lake Drive, Gibsonton, FL 33534, directly across the street from Apollo Beach, near I-75 and Big Bend Road. It is a dog boarding and dog daycare resort serving Apollo Beach, Gibsonton, Riverview, Ruskin and Sun City Center on Tampa Bay's South Shore.

What are Rowdy's hours?

Rowdy's is open Monday–Friday 7am–7pm and Saturday–Sunday 8am–6pm. Boarding and daycare dogs can be dropped off and picked up any time during business hours; there is no daycare drop-off cutoff.

Is there a vet nearby?

Yes. A veterinary hospital is attached next door to Rowdy's Pet Resort.

Do you use kennels?

No. Rowdy's is a cage-free, open-play facility. Dogs play in supervised playrooms and a turf yard during the day and sleep in individual glass-front suites with a raised bed and blanket.

How much do dog boarding and daycare cost?

Dog boarding is $62 per night and includes daycare and a private suite. Daycare is $29 for a half day (under 4 hours) or $39 for a full day, with discounted full-day packages.

How do I become a new guest?

Review the guest requirements, fill out the Pet Care Questionnaire and Client Information Form, and email them with your pet's vaccination records to bark@rowdyspetresort.com. Every dog completes a 3-hour drop-off Meet & Greet before its first boarding or daycare stay.

Do you accept cats?

No. At this time Rowdy's cares for dogs only.
